Collection: Pietruszka
The Pietruszka “Parsley” camouflage pattern, introduced in 1952, was Poland’s first official military camouflage, primarily used by elite reconnaissance units. The pattern featured intricate leaf designs resembling parsley leaves in green, set against a khaki background, offering effective concealment in temperate, green environments. It was worn as two-piece suits over standard uniforms, with adjustable features like waist drawstrings and ankle straps for a better fit. Though initially successful, it was eventually replaced by newer patterns. Today, Pietruszka camo items are rare and sought after by collectors, often found in unissued condition, making them valuable military artifacts.
