The KLMK Camo SS Rash Guard is a close-fitting base layer for no-gi BJJ and high-intensity training. Made from a lightweight, quick-drying knit, it provides a secure, supportive fit that moves with the body during grappling, drilling, and conditioning work. Moisture-wicking properties help manage sweat and reduce cling, so the fabric stays close to the skin without feeling heavy across longer sessions.

The design uses Soviet-era KLMK “birch” camouflage: small, irregular green elements scattered over a lighter green base, creating a dense micro-texture up close and a soft, low-contrast field at distance. The short sleeves keep the forearms clear for grip and hand fighting, while the fitted cut is intended to minimize drag, reduce fabric shifting, and limit handholds. Flat, soft-feeling seams and a smooth interior reduce friction against the skin. Built from recycled performance fibers with UPF 50+ protection and certified to OEKO-TEX 100 and GRS standards, this rash guard is set up as a reliable, technical base layer for no-gi BJJ and other demanding training environments.

Camouflage Pattern Information:
The KLMK Camouflage—an acronym for “Kamuflirovannyy Letniy Maskirovochnyy Kostyum” or “Camouflaged Summer Deceptive Suit”—was introduced by the Soviet Union in the late 1960s. Known informally as “Birch” camo, it features vertical, branch-like strokes in pale green over an off-white base. Designed for concealment in open steppe, grassland, and forested terrain, the pattern was primarily issued to reconnaissance and special operations units. Notably, KLMK was one of the earliest camouflage systems to exhibit a high-frequency, near-digital visual effect—decades before pixelated designs became widespread. Though originally produced as an overgarment, the pattern’s influence can still be seen in modern camo development and remains in limited use today.
