The KMLK Camo Thong features one of the Soviet Union’s most unconventional and experimental camouflage patterns. Developed during the Cold War, the KMLK pattern was originally printed on lightweight oversuits designed to be worn over standard uniforms. Its jagged, net-like shapes in off-black or dark brown over a light tan or beige background were engineered to disrupt outlines at distance, particularly in open terrain and aerial observation scenarios. Unlike most camouflage designed for natural concealment, KMLK focused on optical disruption through sharp contrast and geometric fragmentation. Soviet Experimental Optical Disruption
This thong is constructed from a 97% polyester and 3% spandex blend, delivering flexible comfort, shape retention, and durability. The fabric includes a breathable antimicrobial finish to manage moisture and reduce odor during long wear. It features black elastic at the waistband and leg openings for a stable, non-restrictive fit. Black thread is used for the outer seams and white for the inner seams, preserving construction detail while maintaining clean pattern visibility. A rare Soviet-era pattern adapted into a modern technical underlayer.
