Leibermuster Camo string bikini set in recycled polyester/elastane stretch fabric, built as a matching top-and-bottom Shopify bundle. The German 1945 pattern uses dense black-brown rain-dash marks and green-brown shapes over a tan field, giving the set a sharp, compressed camouflage read across both pieces.
The top is a padded triangle string bikini top with removable padding, adjustable flexible ties, and multiple tie configurations. The bottom is a tie-side string bikini bottom with flexible side ties. Top size and bottom size are selected independently, with both pieces available from 2XS to 6XL.
Fabric composition depends on production location: US/Mexico production uses 75% recycled polyester and 25% elastane at 6.64 oz/yd² (225 g/m²), while Latvia production uses 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane at 6.78 oz/yd² (230 g/m²). The fabric is rated UPF 50+.
Lining color options may vary by production setup. A visible crotch seam may appear because of the 2-layer construction and internal stitching. Rinse thoroughly after chlorine or salt exposure.
The Leibermuster Camo was developed by Germany in 1945 during the final stages of World War II. Featuring a bold, irregular overlay of black printed over brown, dark green, and pale green, it was designed to offer effective concealment in woodland and urban settings. A pioneering innovation of Leibermuster was its incorporation of infrared-reflective pigments—one of the earliest attempts to counter infrared detection technology. Although it saw limited issuance and minimal combat use as the war drew to a close, its design principles influenced post-war camouflage systems in Switzerland and elsewhere.
