The 3 Color Desert Camouflage, also known as the Desert Camouflage Uniform (DCU), was developed for use by the United States Armed Forces. This pattern features a combination of dark brown, pale green, and beige, providing effective concealment in arid environments. Introduced in the early 1990s, it replaced the earlier six-color "chocolate chip" pattern and saw extensive use during the Gulf War and in subsequent desert operations.
