Camouflage Print Information:
The U.S. M81 Woodland Camouflage, also known simply as Woodland Camouflage, is a highly recognized and widely used pattern that was adopted by the U.S. military in the early 1980s. It served as the standard issue camouflage pattern for all branches of the U.S. military until it began to be phased out in the mid-2000s. The M81 Woodland pattern was developed as an evolution of the earlier ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) pattern used during the Vietnam War. The M81 pattern featured larger, more defined shapes and higher contrast, addressing the need for improved camouflage in diverse operational environments.
