The Desert Night Camouflage is a specialized military pattern developed in the 1970s for nighttime desert operations. It features a distinctive grid design with irregular, pixelated shapes in shades of green and black against a dark background, mimicking natural shadows and terrain features under low-light conditions.

Originally created to counter night vision detection, this pattern was used by U.S. forces during the Gulf War. Its design helps disrupt the wearer’s outline, making it harder for enemy forces to detect them using night vision equipment in open desert landscapes.
