The Kamysh Blue Camouflage, known in Russian as “Камыш” (pronounced “KAH-mish”, meaning “reed”), is the urban variant of the Kamysh Woodland pattern Introduced in the early 1990s, this pattern features horizontal stripes in shades ranging from deep navy to sky blue, optimized for urban and maritime environments. Initially adopted by Russian special forces units, including OMON (Special Purpose Mobile Units), the Kamysh Blue variant became widely associated with police and spetsnaz units operating in urban areas.
