The Leibermuster Camo Dog Collar features a late–World War II-era camouflage pattern known for its complex, multi-layered design and influence on many postwar patterns. Its irregular spots, mottled overlays, and small “speckle” elements are arranged over a contrasting ground to disrupt outlines at multiple viewing distances, creating a surface that reads as foliage, shadow, and textured terrain rather than a flat graphic. Scaled down to the collar format, the pattern maintains its characteristic Leibermuster rhythm and fine-grain detail, giving it a distinct archival character that adapts cleanly to both field-oriented and everyday urban or suburban settings.

Built from durable polyester webbing with a soft, padded interior, the collar balances structure and comfort for regular wear. An adjustable buckle allows for a secure, customizable fit, while the metal D-ring provides a reliable leash attachment point. The combination of practical construction and historically significant Leibermuster camouflage reference makes it suitable for owners who prefer a consistent design language across both heritage-inspired and daily applications.

Camouflage Pattern Information:
The Leibermuster Camo was developed by Germany in 1945 during the final stages of World War II. Featuring a bold, irregular overlay of black printed over brown, dark green, and pale green, it was designed to offer effective concealment in woodland and urban settings. A pioneering innovation of Leibermuster was its incorporation of infrared-reflective pigments—one of the earliest attempts to counter infrared detection technology. Although it saw limited issuance and minimal combat use as the war drew to a close, its design principles influenced post-war camouflage systems in Switzerland and elsewhere.
