Camouflage record
M81 Urban
The M81 Urban Camouflage Pattern is a recoloration of the original M81 Woodland design. Though not officially adopted, it was notably used by the US Marine Corps during a 1994 urban operations training at Fort Benning. This pattern was part of a study evaluating various urban camouflage options, including disruptive and monotone designs. However, both the woodland and 3-color urban camo performed poorly in urban night conditions.

The M81 Urban Camo Men's Leggings (Gray-Dominant) are made from structured compression fabric that offers support, mobility, and long-term durability.
This grayscale reinterpretation of the U.S. M81 Woodland geometry reduces chromatic contrast for use around concrete, steel, and shadowed structures.
Constructed with four-way stretch (75% recycled polyester, 25% elastane) locally sourced from Mexico, the material provides consistent compression, resists pilling and snagging, and maintains shape through repeated wear. A 50+ UPF rating adds sun protection for outdoor sessions.
A fitted silhouette and elastic waistband ensure a secure hold. The front gusset improves range of motion and reduces chafing, while flatlock seams and coverstitching minimize bulk for extended use. Designed to be worn on its own or under shorts.
