Though not officially adopted, it was notably used by the US Marine Corps during a 1994 urban operations training at Fort Benning. This pattern was part of a study evaluating various urban camouflage options, including disruptive and monotone designs. However, both the woodland and 3-color urban camo performed poorly in urban night conditions.

Description

M81 Urban Woodland — the black-charcoal-grey reinterpretation of the U.S. Army's four-color M81 foliage pattern — runs across the cups and back panel of this racerback sports bra. The wide racerback panel gives the pattern enough surface area to read as a composition rather than fragmenting at the strap edges.

Moisture-wicking polyester blend, removable padded cups, built-in shelf bra, elastic underbust band. Sizes XS–XL. Pairs with M81 Urban tech leggings.
