The M81 Urban Camouflage Pattern is a recoloration of the original M81 Woodland design. Though not officially adopted, it was notably used by the US Marine Corps during a 1994 urban operations training at Fort Benning. This pattern was part of a study evaluating various urban camouflage options, including disruptive and monotone designs. However, both the woodland and 3-color urban camo performed poorly in urban night conditions.

M81 Urban Camo String Bikini Top (Gray-Dominant) in recycled polyester-elastane stretch fabric, built on Printful's All-Over Print Recycled Padded String Bikini Top. This gray-dominant M81 Urban camouflage keeps the woodland-derived shape language but pushes the palette toward cooler gray, black, and off-white contrast across the triangle cups and adjustable ties.
Removable padding gives the top optional structure, while the adjustable neck and back ties allow flexible styling, coverage, and support. The soft stretch fabric is rated UPF 50+ and is designed for swim, sun, and repeated warm-weather wear.
Production specs vary by fulfillment region: US/Mexico production uses 75% recycled polyester and 25% elastane at 6.64 oz/yd² (225 g/m²), while Latvia production uses 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane at 6.78 oz/yd² (230 g/m²). Sizes run from 2XS to 6XL. Rinse thoroughly after chlorine or salt exposure.
