The U.S. M81 Woodland pattern — four colors (black, brown, medium green, light green) in an overlapping, multi-scale leaf and branch geometry — was the standard U.S. Army camouflage from 1981 to 2005. On a 6-panel unstructured cap it reads as dense foliage texture from three feet back.
