Printed in the experimental Three-Color Snow camouflage—often referred to as “Snow BDU” in archived documentation—this pattern is a winter-focused adaptation of the U.S. M81 Woodland layout, developed by Natick Soldier research teams in the 1990s for concealment in snow-covered environments. The three-tone structure emphasizes bold disruption and legibility in bright terrain, giving the top a distinct cold-weather camouflage identity that reads both technical and graphic. Each piece is precision-cut and hand-sewn after printing to preserve pattern clarity and placement, producing a finished garment that looks deliberate, constructed, and consistent from unit to unit.
