Snow BDU Camo Dog Leash

The Snow BDU Camo Dog Leash uses a cold-weather camouflage pattern developed around 1990 by the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center as a snow-based adaptation of the M81 Woodland design. Broad, overlapping shapes in off-white, light gray, and muted earth tones are arranged over a pale ground to disrupt outlines along the length of the leash, so it reads more as broken snowpack, exposed rock, and sparse winter vegetation than as a flat band of color. Although never officially issued, this pattern represents a rare experimental study in snow camouflage. Scaled to the leash format, it maintains its soft, rounded geometry and transitional winter character while translating cleanly to everyday use on city streets, in neighborhood parks, or on trail.

Constructed from durable polyester webbing, the leash is designed for regular use while maintaining its structural integrity and print definition over time. The padded handle is lined with a polyester-spandex blend and black sponge layer to provide a more comfortable grip, particularly on longer walks or when handling stronger or more energetic dogs. A metal snap hook offers secure attachment to the collar, and the integrated D-ring allows for the addition of accessories or waste bag holders. The overall configuration balances practical handling, pattern fidelity, and a historically informed snow camouflage reference.

Hand wash with mild detergent or machine wash on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag. Air dry.
