Snow BDU is an experimental camouflage development associated with the U.S. Army Natick research community, derived from the original M81 Woodland geometry but reduced to a three-color system. It retains M81’s familiar large-and-medium blotch structure—built for multi-scale disruption—while shifting the palette to white with black and green elements. That combination keeps the classic woodland breakup logic while pushing it into snow-dominant or high-contrast cold-weather conditions, producing a pattern that reads boldly graphic up close and resolves into recognizable M81-based disruption at distance.

A double-layer hood adds structure and warmth, with adjustable drawstrings for fit control in changing conditions. Self-fabric collar and cuffs help the hoodie keep its shape through regular wear, maintaining a consistent edge finish and stable fit over time.
