The Three-Color Snow camouflage, officially referred to as “Snow BDU” in archived military documentation, was developed by the Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center in the 1990s for winter concealment. Although never formally adopted, this pattern remains a practical adaptation of the U.S. M81 Woodland design.

Snow BDU Camo String Bikini Set uses regional polyester-elastane swim fabric: 78% polyester and 22% elastane for US fulfillment, or 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane for EU fulfillment. The double-layered two-piece pairs removable-padded triangle cups and flexible multiway top ties with an adjustable tie-side bottom.

Sparse gray-green branch forms cross a pale ground associated with winter BDU camouflage trials, adding enough contrast to define the cups and bottom without closing the snow-bright field. The soft stretch fabric provides UPF 50+ coverage and is offered through 6XL. Rinse thoroughly after chlorine or salt exposure; a visible crotch-seam stitch can occur as a normal result of the bottom’s internal double-layer construction.
